Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Saturday that in the past 24 hours, 85 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,308.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 27, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,120 cases out of whom 815 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,846,923 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,585,114 recovered.

3,921 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,550,008 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 23 cities are in red, 44 in orange,  287 in yellow, and 94 in blue zones.
