Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced that in the past 24 hours, 97 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,142.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 25, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,506 cases out of whom 792 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated Thursday.

She noted that so far, 1,830,823 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,569,697 recovered.

3,889 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,414,005 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 17 cities are in red, and 47 are in the orange zones.
