Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Tuesday that 1,815,712 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,555,766 recovered.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 23, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,290 cases out of whom 749 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 74 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 61,951.

3,865 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,284,847 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 12 cities are in red, and 39 are in the orange zones.
