Oil station catches fire in Jizan, Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Ministry of Energy on Friday morning tacitly confirmed the drone strikes of the Yemeni army and popular committees in the south of the country and reported a fire in one of the oil products tanks in Jizan.

Iran PressMiddle East: An official at the Saudi Ministry of Oil called the fire a 'sabotage operation' and confirmed the fire at an oil distribution station in Jizan, claiming no casualties.

Al-Mayadin also quoted the Saudi Ministry of Oil as saying that Yemeni missiles had targeted the Jizan oil production site in southwestern Saudi Arabia.

Last Friday, Yemeni forces used six drones to target the Aramco oil facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's capital.

Following missile and drone strikes by Yemeni forces in Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan announced a ceasefire plan in Yemen. The plan announced by Ansarullah officials has nothing new to say and only was propaganda.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched the devastating war on Yemen in March 2015 in order to bring the country’s former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi back to power and crush the Ansarullah movement.

Since then, over 100,000 people have been killed, according to the US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED).
