Iran, Russia discuss JCPOA

Moscow (IP) - The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia met and discussed the issue of JCPOA.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov met on Tuesday and stressed the need for close cooperation between all parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to ensure sustainable implementation of the nuclear agreement.

Iran began steps under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) oversight to reduce its commitments following the US unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA and the European parties' reluctance to comply with their obligations under the agreement.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has stated that it will return to full implementation of the JCPOA if all sanctions are lifted, and the other parties fulfill their obligations.
