Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday the country would support any peace plan based on ending the aggression and occupation, establishing a nationwide ceasefire, lifting the economic blockade, starting political talks, and finally handing over matters to the Yemenis to determine their political future.
Declaring its abhorrence toward the continuation of the big crime against the Yemeni people, the statement said siege and military offensive targeted 24 million people in Yemen, killing dozens of the people every day due to bombing or starvation, disease, lack of medicine, and lack of fuel in medical centers.
According to the statistics of international bodies and even according to some political and arms supporters, the inhumane attack on the Yemeni nation included all kinds of crimes, the international prosecution of which is among the duties of international institutions and all defenders of freedom and human rights, the statement added.
Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that despite numerous claims over stopping the supports for aggression, selling arms to the US-backed Saudi regime, and even the necessary technical support required for the amps bought was continuing, and the military experts of some countries in the service of the Saudis were complicit in the massacre of the Yemeni people.
