Tehran (IP) - Head of Iran's Emergency Medical Services said no lethal side effects had been reported by those who got the coronavirus jab.

Iran PressIran News: Pir-Hossein Kolivand stated that with the Health Ministry's cooperation, 30% of emergency medical students were women who would work in the emergency department missions after graduation.

"There are also men and women EMS personnel who offer services in many joint operations like in Sisakht earthquake or road accidents," he noted.

He pointed that the number of people visiting health care centers had been increased compared to last year, although EMS was in full readiness.

Referring to the increase in road accidents and the coronavirus pandemic, he urged people to stay home and not take any trips.

"Currently, the police, the Red Crescent Society, and other institutions are cooperating well with the emergency services," he concluded.
