53 COVID-19 patients succumb to death in Iran

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Friday that in the past 24 hours, 53 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 61,069.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 12, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,088 cases out of whom 593 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

Lari also announced that hopefully 1,477,588 COVID-19 patients have either recovered or been discharged.

3,829 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 11,558,441 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed out.
