COVID-19 claims 88 lives in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Thursday that in the past 24 hours, 88 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 61,016.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 11, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,308 cases out of whom 716 patients were hospitalized," Sima-Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,723,470 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,471,179 recovered.

3,818 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

"So far, 11,527,650 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.
