Bolivians went to the polls for the fourth time in two years to choose their representatives.

Iran Press/America: Bolivians went to the polls Sunday to elect about 5,000 local officials, including governors, members of council departments and mayors.

The official data for the election will be announced on March 8, according to the Bolivian Electoral Court.

If the election for these local officials does not take place in the second round, the elected officials will take office in late March.

The election took place just four months after the presidential election and will mark the end of a long chain of elections in Bolivia.

The Bolivian presidential election was held on October 18 and Luis Arce won the election with 55% of the vote. 219
