Tehran (IP)- Managing Director of Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization said that donations in Iran were one of the healthiest blood in the world due to being free of infectious and non-infectious complications.

Iran PressIran News: Peyman Eshqi, stating that more than 2.5 million people go to blood transfusion centers every year to donate blood, added: "Iran has developed a blood donation index as it is in developed countries."

The CEO also pointed out that Iran was the only Muslim country as a member of the International rare blood donor panels, in which the US, Britain, South Africa, Brazil, New Zealand the Netherland, Swiss, Spain, India, Japan, China, German, Finland, France, and Taiwan are the members.
