Tehran (IP) - If the United States lifts the sanctions, our relations with the IAEA will be warmer, in which any monitoring will be carried out within the framework of the law, the Iranian president said.

Iran PressIran News: Hassan Rouhani noted: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is well aware that the Islamic Republic has been cooperating well and that the IAEA reports show the same thing.

The Iranian president added: "The three European countries must understand that there is no place for a political game in IAEA, and they must put aside the political game and know that we are pursuing technical work in the IAEA."

Addressing the Europeans, he said: "European countries should allow the technical work between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency to continue, because Tehran has signed a good contract with the IAEA, and after the law passed by the parliament on this, good cooperation was formed between Iran and the IAEA."

He said: "As always, I repeat that the nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are 100% peaceful and we want the International Atomic Energy Agency to carry out its monitoring activities easily, and if the IAEA sees that it is still far from its desired actions, the United States is the problem."

"If the United States lifts the sanctions, our relationship with the IAEA will become even warmer, in which any monitoring will be carried out within the framework of the law," he added.
