COVID-19 takes 86 lives in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, 86 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 60,267.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 2, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,495 cases out of whom 784 patients were hospitalized," Sima-Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,648,174 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,406,845 recovered.

"3,738 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition," according to the spokeswoman.

"So far, 10,92,109 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, at the moment 11 cities are in red zones, 32 cities in orange, 251 cities in yellow, and 154 cities in blue.

Red zones are؛ Abadan, Ahvaz, Bandar Mahshahr, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Dasht-e Azadegan, Ramhormoz, Shadegan, Shushtar, Karun and Hoveyzeh.
