Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Monday that in the past 24 hours, 108 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 60,181.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 29, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,510 cases out of whom 812 patients were hospitalized, Sima-Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,639,679 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,399,934 recovered.

3,727 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 10,912,409 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 32 in orange, 251 are in yellow, and 154 are in the blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are red zones.
