Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 93 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 60,073.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 28, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,010 cases out of whom 494 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,631,169 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,393,125 recovered.

3,732 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 10,853,008 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed out.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are regarded as red zones, 32 as orange, 251 as yellow, and 154 as blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are regarded as red zones.
