Iran condemns targeted assasinations in Afghanistan

Kabul (IP) - The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul condemned the violent and inhumane acts against the citizens of Afghanistan and the recently targeted assassinations in this country.

Iran press/ Asia: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul on Monday said in a statement that, unfortunately, violent and inhumane acts against the lives of Afghan citizens have continued unabated in recent weeks and the international community was witnessing painful scenes of crime created by those who pursue their evil goals in this way.

The statement denounced such barbaric and unjustifiable behavior, stressing that resorting to terrorism would deal a severe blow to the legitimacy and dignity of those who commit such heinous crimes.

The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan added that the true nature of such criminals would not be hidden and they would not be immune from punishment.

In the past few days, more than 10 roadside bomb explosions in the Afghan capital, Kabul, have killed more than 10 people and injured several others.

An explosion in the Karte Parwan area northwest of the capital Kabul yesterday afternoon (Sunday) killed four people, including a policeman, and injured several others, including a woman and her two children.

No group has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
