Iranian foreign minister said that in response to the non-compliance of the United States and Europe with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iran would soon take new remedial action under the nuclear deal.

Iran PressIran News: In a video message addressing the new US administration on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif added: "In the presence of the new government in Washington, there is an opportunity to try a new approach, but the current window is closing quickly."

Zarif added: "In response to the unfortunate non-compliance of the United States and Europe with their obligations under the nuclear agreement, the Iranian government will soon have to take new compensatory action; This compensatory measure, as approved by Iran's Parliament in accordance with the inalienable rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of the JCPOA, includes the expansion of the nuclear program and the reduction of cooperation with the inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The Iranian Foreign Minister also stated that Tehran has repeatedly proven its readiness to interact and cooperate towards common goals with its neighbors.
