Moscow (IP) - The Speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly (parliament) and Russia's Secretary of National Security Council met in Moscow on Tuesday.

Iran PressEurope: Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf and Nikolai Patrushev discussed regional issues as well as the continuation of bilateral ties. 

Security, strategic, and nuclear topics were also among the issues discussed between the two countries' officials. 

The meeting was held without the presence of media reporters. 

In his first foreign trip as the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, and heading a parliamentary delegation, Ghalibaf arrived in Moscow on Sunday evening at the official invitation of the Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
