Moscow (IP) - The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran delivered the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, to his Russian counterpart Vyacheslav Volodin.

Iran PressEurope: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said in the meeting: "The message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Russian government is within the framework of strategic relations between the two countries."

Ghalibaf referred to the emphasis of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the development and deepening of Iran-Russia relations and the expansion of the structure of bilateral cooperation and explained that one of the most important goals of the visit to Russia was to emphasize that Tehran-Moscow relations would undergo no change which is influenced by global developments.

During his first foreign trip as Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf headed a parliamentary delegation and arrived in Moscow on Sunday evening at the official invitation of the Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin.
