Kermanshah (IP) - The first shipment of Russian-made COVID-19 vaccine entered Kermanshah province, west of Iran, and injected to 100 medical staff of Golestan Hospital that was dedicated to the COVID-19 patients.

Iran PressIran News: COVID-19 vaccination in Iran today got started on the 10th day of 10-Day Dawn, with the order of President Hassan Rouhani at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Hospital.

The order was executed throughout the country at 635 hospitals that were dedicated to the treatment of the COVID-19 patients. 

The vaccination will be carried out based on a prioritization; first the medical staff, then the elderly, and next, the patients with underlying diseases. 

About 1.3 million vulnerable persons of the first phase will be vaccinated until the end of the current Persian year (1399).
