Tehran (IP) - Iranian Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced in her presser on Monday that the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran had reached 58,536, noting that the disease has taken the lives of 67 patients over the past 24 hours.

Iran PressIran News: Sima Sadat Lari stated that the number of people tested positive for COVID-19 across the country has risen to 1,473,756 after detecting 7,321 new cases since yesterday.

"Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 707 patients have been admitted to the hospital," she added.

"Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers, 3,778 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions," Lari pointed.

"At least 1,260,045 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran," the spokeswoman stated.

Lari also noted that more than 9,722,969 coronavirus diagnostic tests had been carried out in Iran so far.

As she pointed out, according to the latest analysis, 36 cities are in orange, 178 in yellow, and 234 are in the blue zones.
