Ardabil (IP)- The Commander-in-Chief of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the enemy cannot tolerate witnessing the progress of Islamic Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the ceremony of operating the first steam unit of the Sabalan Ardabil Combined Cycle Power Plant in northwestern Iran on Thursday, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami added: "The enemy is worried about the flames of hope burning in the hearts of the people and wants to make our people tired and disappointed."

General Salami stated: "The enemies do not like a strong, advanced, prosperous, and faithful Iran and they like a dependent and surrendered Iran, but we still stand and build our country."

The Commander-in-Chief of IRGC pointed out that Iran has made the most amazing progress during the sanctions period, stressing: "Elimination of deprivation and building a prosperous country is a new and very necessary form of war against enemies; therefore, construction in the country should not be stopped."
