Tehran (IP): Emphasizing that Iran is ready for any reaction, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the enemy's moves in the region were due to their mistake last year in assassinating General Qasem Soleimani and his companions.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Qasem Soleimani, which was held at the University of Tehran on Friday, Major General Hossein Salami said in response to a question about recent enemy's moves in the region: "We believe that these movements reflect the consequences of last year's mistake of the Americans in assassinating the great commander Qasem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and his allies, which has created hatred in people of the Islamic world."

"This hatred is always a nightmare for Americans," he said.

“They take a series of moves to escape this dangerous nightmare they face. In any case, we are ready for any reaction.”

Salami also responded to the question of whether the Islamic Republic of Iran is concerned that Trump might attack or make a mistake against us, noting: "Iran has no worries and we are ready to defend our independence, interests and the achievements of our great revolution, and we have made this readiness over the past 41 years."

"The path of tough revenge is the path of the collapse of the Zionist regime and the collapse of American political domination over the region and the expulsion of the United States from the region as well as giving the fate of Muslims into their own hands.", he added.
