Iran's Ambassador to Baku, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi

Baku (IP) - The Islamic Republic of Iran's Ambassador to Baku described Iran's foreign minister's trip to Azerbaijan's Republic as a strategic one.

Iran PressAsia: In a Saturday tweet, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stressed the trip of Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif to the Nakhichevan Autonomous Region strengthens bilateral relations and is of strategic importance because of the communications routes and corridors after the recent Karabakh conflict. 

The Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on Saturday to review the situation and meet with officials of the region.

During a regional trip to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, and Turkey, Zarif met with the leaders and high-ranking officials of these five countries and discussed bilateral relations and regional cooperation.
