Coronavirus in Iran:
COVID-19 related deaths declines to 71

Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced in her presser on Friday that the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran had reached 57,807, noting that the disease has taken the lives of 71 patients over the past 24 hours.

Iran PressIran News: Sima Sadat Lari stated that the number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 across the country has risen to 1,404,414 after detecting 6,573 new cases since yesterday.

"Of the new cases detected over the past 24 hours, 650 patients have been admitted to the hospital," she added.

"Among those undergoing treatment in medical centers, 3,990 coronavirus patients have critical health conditions," Lari pointed.

"At least 1,196,374 patients have recovered from the coronavirus infection so far or have been discharged from hospitals across Iran," the spokeswoman stated.

Lari also noted that more than 9,176,899 coronavirus diagnostic tests had been carried out in Iran so far.

As she pointed out, according to the latest analysis, 18 cities are in orange zones, 154 in yellow zones, and 276 are in the blue zones.
