Tehran (IP) - The President of the ECO Cultural Institute stressed that culture as a power eliminates all the frustrations, misery, misunderstandings, and misfortunes that human beings face today.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on the role of holding an international exhibition of Silk Road Calligraphy to deepen ties among ECO member countries and the Silk Road, Sarvar Bakhti stated: "We all know that culture and art are borderless so, the two travel from one country or region to other places in the world." 

Speaking on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the First International Silk Road Calligraphy Exhibition (Quilt Dance), Bakhti underlined that the role of such international conferences (The International Exhibition of Silk Road Calligraphy) in such circumstances plays a very important role and are fruitful in the world. 

"Art (calligraphy) shed a ray of hope and heartened everyone. It is converging people and creating fraternity at the same time," added the President of the ECO Cultural Institute.

The President of the ECO Cultural Institute Sarvar Bakhti expressed hope to the continuation of holding international conferences and exhibitions to get together. 

The closing ceremony of the First International Silk Road Calligraphy Exhibition (Quilt Dance), was held at Tehran Mall on 28th Jan 2021 with the Secretary-General of the Iranian National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Ambassadors of the Silk Road countries.

The International Exhibition of Silk Road Calligraphy was opened on Wednesday by the UNESCO Cultural Center and the Municipality of Mashhad at the Khorasan Museum and ended on 28th Jan 2021, at Tehran Mall.

More than 230 works from about 30 countries, including Iran, China, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Kuwait, Russia, Turkey, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Poland were exhibited at the event.
