The newly sworn US President Biden rolls out a flurry of executive orders aimed at tackling the climate crisis

Iran PressAmerica: US President Joe Biden has begun to undo some of Donald Trump's key policies, hours after being sworn in.

According to US media, Joe Biden has moved to reinstate the US to the Paris climate agreement just hours after being sworn in as president, as his administration rolls out a cavalcade of executive orders aimed at tackling the climate crisis.

"There is no time to waste when it comes to tackling the crises we face," he tweeted as he headed to the White House following his inauguration.

Biden is issuing15 executive orders aimed at boosting the federal response to the coronavirus crisis in the US which many believe Trump mishandled greatly.

Other moves will reverse the previous administration's stance on climate change, immigration and race relations. 219
