Thousands of people across Lebanon, particularly in Beirut’s southern suburb, gathered at Hezbollah’s invitation on Wednesday to commemorate Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as funeral ceremonies were held in Iran and Iraq.

Participants carried Iranian and Hezbollah flags along with portraits of the Martyred Leader, reaffirming their commitment to the path of resistance against Israel and its U.S. ally.

Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said the ceremony represented more than mourning, describing it as a symbol of uprising and revolution.

He also rejected any "framework agreement" with Israel, calling for the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
