Karbala (IP) - The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karbala voiced his readiness to cooperate with private sector activists and Iranian merchants in various fields.

Iran PressIran News: Mojtaba Shasti-Karimi, Iran's Consul General in Karbala province, during a meeting on Monday which was held in the form of a webinar with the presence of members of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of government agencies in Fars province, southern Iran, added: "The private sector and economic activists are pioneers in developing Iran's relations with Iraq."

The Iranian Consul General in Karbala, stating that the main pillar of any cooperation with traders and merchants is by the decisions of the Chamber of Commerce, added: "By examining the capabilities of Iraq, there are many opportunities for Iranian businessmen to trade with this country."

"Iranian companies can have a successful presence in Iraq," he added.
