Iran, Afghanistan stress boosting ties

Kabul (IP) - The Women's Faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran and the Human Rights, Civil Society and Women's Affairs Commission of the Afghan House of Representatives emphasized the comprehensive development of relations between Tehran and Kabul.

Iran PressAsia: The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul announced in a tweet: The women faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran and the Human Rights and Women's Affairs Commission of the House of Representatives of Afghanistan discussed and exchanged views in a virtual meeting on Monday.

The tweet added: "The meeting discussed women, immigrants, peace, the Khaf-Herat railway, the port of Chabahar, investment opportunities, and scientific-educational cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan."

In recent years, Iran and Afghanistan have tried in goodwill to develop and expand bilateral relations in all political, cultural, economic, and social fields.
