Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with senior officials from Venezuela, Indonesia, and Palestine on the sidelines of the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Uganda, on Wednesday, October 15.

Araghchi held talks with Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Eduardo Gil Pinto, focusing on expanding bilateral ties and coordinating positions within NAM. Both sides emphasized the importance of deepening political and economic cooperation and supporting shared international stances.

In his meeting with the head of Indonesia’s delegation, Araghchi discussed regional collaboration, economic development, and multilateral engagement. He highlighted Indonesia’s role in fostering solidarity among NAM countries.

Araghchi also met with Riyad Mansour, head of the Palestinian delegation, to review the latest developments in Palestine and explore ways to support Palestinian rights in international forums. He reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and called for stronger collective diplomacy against Israeli actions.
