Spox: COVID-19 daily deaths in Iran reach 247

Tehran (IP) - ‏‏The spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 1,108,269 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and daily deaths in Iran reach 247.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 13, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 7,451 cases out of whom 833 patients were hospitalized, the Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 247 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 52,196 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 6,704,247 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted. Currently, 12 counties are in the red zone, 288 are in the orange zone, and 148 are in the yellow zone.
