Pouya Mahmoudian becomes the Vice President of the West Asia Office of the World Crafts Council

Tehran (IP) - Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Pouya Mahmoudian has been elected as the Deputy Director of the Asia-Pacific Office of the World Asia-Pacific Council (WCC) of Handicrafts from 2021- 2024.

Iran PressIran News: At the 38th General Assembly of the WCC, Pouya Mahmoudian presented a report on the most important actions, activities and programs of Iran, especially during the coronavirus epidemic.

The online meeting was attended by representatives from 35 countries, including Iran, Indonesia, Thailand, Kuwait, Malaysia, Palestine, Australia, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Kazakhstan, and the President of the World Handicrafts Council from the United Kingdom.

In her report, Mahmoudian addressed exhibitions holding, bazaars, training, handicraft exports, and explained the support provided to handicraft artists during the coronavirus outbreak.
