ISRAELI WAR ON IRAN

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), declared that the Islamic Republic "no longer has confidence" in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and its inspection mechanisms, accusing the organization of facilitating espionage for Israel.

Mohammad Eslami said that recent calls for negotiation from adversaries reveal Iran’s upper hand in the current geopolitical standoff. “If we weren’t in a position of strength, they wouldn’t be asking to negotiate,” he added.

He revealed that he had submitted two official letters to IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi—backed by Iran’s Foreign Ministry—outlining serious concerns over Grossi’s “clear partiality” and a record of “historical negligence” that Tehran intends to pursue through legal channels.

The letters insist that the Director General must condemn the recent attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Failure to do so, Eslami warned, would make the IAEA and its leadership directly accountable for the consequences of Iran’s potential response.

He concluded that Western powers are searching for pretexts and that “the nuclear bomb narrative is merely a cover for targeting the Islamic Republic.”
