EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said that Europe has been very interested in the survival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action dubbed as JCPOA.

Iran PressEurope: Josep Borrell in an interview with Euro News about the possibility of rejoining of US president Elect Joe Biden to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran or Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, said," I remember in the electoral campaign, and today elected president expressing his intention to resume and  to return to the nuclear agreement with Iran."

Borrell on the assassination of Iran's nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh said: "Certainly, there are people who have an interest in this agreement (JCPOA) not surviving. Europe has been very interested in its survival. I have had to keep it alive, hibernating a little, but it hasn't died. And now we also have to see what the Iranians think because the Iranians can rightly feel cheated. And maybe they are the ones who won’t want to play with the same cards again. But we’ll have to wait."
