Middle East officials lambaste Fakhrizadeh assassination

Middle East (IP): Syrian Foreign Minister and the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), condemned the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in separate telephone conversations with the Iranian Foreign Minister on Saturday night.

Iran Press/Middle East: According to Iran Press News Agency, "Faisal al-Maqdad" and "Ismail Haniyeh" in a phone call with "Mohammad Javad Zarif", Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while condemning the assassination of "Fakhrizadeh", expressed their condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran on behalf of the Syrian and Palestinian people.

Earlier, the Qatari foreign minister condemned the assassination of martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in a telephone conversation with Zarif.

The speaker of the Turkish parliament also condemned the assassination of an Iranian nuclear and defense scientist in a statement, calling it a "terrorist act."

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, an Iranian nuclear and defense scientist, was martyred in a terrorist attack in the Absard region of Damavand, Tehran province, on Friday evening.

The blind and cowardly assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh has provoked many international reactions.

The foreign ministers of Venezuela and South Africa were among the officials who condemned the terrorist act. The European Union also described the assassination of Iran's nuclear and defense scientist as a criminal act and as a violation of the principle of respect for human rights.

Many countries and media have considered the involvement of the United States and Israel in organizing the assassination of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
