Ardabil (IP) - The historical city of Ardabil is of special importance in terms of tourism in northwestern Iran due to the existence of various tourist attractions, especially Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili’s shrine.

Iran Press/Iran news: Another important historical and tourist places of Ardabil is Sheikh Amin al-Din Jibrael Ardabili’s shrine, the father of Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili.

Sheikh Amin al-Din Ardabili’s shrine, located in the Kalkhuran neighborhood of Ardabil, is highly valued and respected by the people of the region; so that many people visit the shrine on weekends.

The octagonal structure of the shrine of Sheikh Amin al-Din Jibrael Ardabili was built in the early tenth century, AH and its decoration and architecture are very similar to the shrine of Sheikh Safi al-Din Ardabili.

A large brick dome has been built on the flat roof of the shrine of Sheikh Amin al-Din Jibrael Ardabili, and the entrance balcony of the shrine has been painted with an illuminated manuscript on tiles, the style of which is related to the Safavid historical period.

On the main shrine of Sheikh Amin al-Din Jibrael Ardabili, a large wooden box has been placed, the surrounding walls of which are decorated with tiles and epigraphy Kufic inscriptions on top of them.

This historical monument has been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1310 SH.
