Ardabil (IP) - Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organisation in Ardebil Province, Nader Fallahi said that Ardabil is a tourism hub in northwestern Iran.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Nader Fallahi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "Ardabil province is called the 'Summer-quarter' (Yaylak) of Iran, because of its suitable climate and abundant natural attractions."

"Ardabil province has more than 1039 registered national monuments and for this reason tourists choose to travel to this province, particularly in summer months," Fallahi added.

Pointing to the registration of the Sheikh Safi al-Din Kh?neg?h and Shrine Ensemble in the UNESCO, Fallahi said: "This monument is a valuable world heritage site which is located in Ardabil province."
