US President-elect Joe Biden, who is the winner of the recent US election, introduced key cabinet members under his administration on Monday evening.

Iran PressAmerica: On Monday 23 November, US President-elect Joe Biden announced several top positions on his national security team, including secretary of state, Homeland Security Secretary, Director of National Intelligence, Ambassador to the United Nations, National Security Adviser and a special presidential envoy for the climate. 

Biden has selected Antony Blinken to be secretary of state.

The Obama administration's Secretary of State, John Kerry, will also become the government's special envoy for the climate in the Biden administration.

Jake Sullivan will also be acting as the national security adviser in the Biden administration.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield is nominated by Biden as the United States Representative to the United Nations.

Alejandro Mayorkas will also be the next Secretary of Homeland Security in the Biden administration, and Avril Haines will be the director of national intelligence.

The Democratic nominee is introducing key members of his cabinet as White House President Donald Trump continues to refuse the defeat in the November 3 election.
