Iran Press/Middle East: The spokesman for Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that the army missile unit managed to use the Quds-2 missile to target two oil distribution stations of the Saudi Aramco oil company in the port of Jeddah.
The missile strike, which was carried out using Quds-2 guided missile, was successful, according to a statement issued Monday morning by the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces.
Yahya Saree pointed out that the missile hit exactly the pre-determined location and that fire trucks and ambulances were moving towards the scene.
He stated that the attack was carried out in response to the continuing aggression and siege of Yemen, as well as the promise of the armed forces to carry out large-scale operations deep in Saudi territory.
Emphasizing that the operations of the Yemeni armed forces will continue, he advised foreign citizens and companies operating in Saudi Arabia to stay away from vital facilities in the country.
However, Reuters said there was no confirmation of the attack by Saudis.
According to the Yemeni army spokesman, the Quds-2 missile has recently entered the operational phase after passing successful practical tests deep in Saudi territory.
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, has launched a military invasion of Yemen since March 2015 and put it under land, sea, and air siege.
The war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed more than 16,000 Yemenis, injured tens of thousands, and displaced millions of Yemenis.
