Iran Press/ Middle East: Hassan Irloo wrote on his Twitter account on Friday: "Six years of aggression in Yemen have resulted in nothing but indescribable destruction of infrastructure, disease and epidemics, increasing poverty and the difficulty of providing healthy food and drinking water due to the all-out and inhumane siege and war."
He noted: "This aggression puts the Yemeni people in more trouble day by day, but on the contrary, the resistance of the people and the resistance continues until victory is achieved."
The Saudi-led coalition of Arab countries on the Persian Gulf attacked Yemen on March 26, 2015, under the pretext of supporting the ousted government of Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
This invasion and siege of Yemen by Saudi Arabia have led to a humanitarian crisis and widespread famine, the spread of cholera, and the widespread destruction of Yemen's 3,000-year-old historical heritage.
