Iran Press/Asia: Imran Khan said it remains to be seen whether Biden will follow Trump's policies or go back to the time of Barack Obama when the nuclear deal or JCPOA was signed with Iran but Trump withdrew from it.
"At the same time, it is too early to comment on the usefulness of the policies of Democrats or Republicans for the region, but Biden's adherence to Trump's approach to Iran will affect Pakistan," he said.
Imran Khan referred to some of the regional Arab states' normalization of ties with the Israeli regime's and emphasized Pakistan's strong stance against the conspiracy, and its support for the liberation of the Palestinian territories.
"We cannot even imagine that we want to normalize relations with Israel, but this is contrary to the ideas of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the late founder of Pakistan, according to which the rights of the Palestinian people must be guaranteed," the Pakistani prime minister added.
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. has been named winner of the 2020 presidential election, defeating Trump after a long, bitterly contested count.
The 77-year-old Biden surpassed the 270 electoral vote threshold to take the White House after more than three days of uncertainty as election officials sorted through a surge of mail-in votes that delayed the processing of some ballots.
