Tehran (IP) - The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, announced on Wednesday that 462 died from COVID-19 over past hours.

Iran Press/Iran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 11, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 11,780 cases out of whom 3,339 patients were hospitalized," Lari stated. 

According to her, so far 715,68 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 536,105 of the total infected people have recovered.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 462 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 39,664.

5,601 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, 5,344,821COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman noted.

She pointed out that Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamedan, Yazd, and Kurdistan are regarded as red zones.

"Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones," Lari added.
