Iran's ambassador to the Vienna-based international organisations stressed the need to stop the arbitrary arrests and harassment of the Iranian nationals in the world under political pretexts such as the violation of the US illegal sanctions.

Iran PressEurope: During the periodical meeting of examining the human rights situation in the US on Tuesday, Kazem Gharibabadi addressed the US and called for an end to the regime's widespread and systematic racism against people of color, especially the blacks.

The Iranian diplomat also urged the cessation of arbitrary killings around the world, especially by drones, and the punishment of the assassinators of the Iranian top general Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and his companions.

Gharibabadi also recalled the cooperation with the International Criminal Court (ICC) to try the US Army troops, who committed war crimes against people in Afghanistan and other countries.

He also called for an end to the complicity in committing war crimes and widespread violations of human rights in Yemen and Palestine by the Israeli and Saudi regimes, an end to arms sales to countries that systematically and widely violate human rights in wars against countries such as Yemen and Palestine as well as an end to the inhumane treatment of immigrants, including the separation of immigrant children from their parents and their detention in cages in the United States.
