Tehran (IP) - Managing-Director of the Railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran Saeed Rasouli said that in the sixth and seventh stages of operation of the new railway fleet, 122 railway fleets will enter the country's railway network.

Iran PressIran News: Saeed Rasouli pointed out that the country's factories have used all the facilities for maximum production, adding that the country's rail modernization movement is on the agenda of the railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran since last year.

He stated that in order to reduce dependency on foreign countries, the first national braking system of the country's freight wagons will be produced and used.

The managing-director of the railways of Iran highlighted that the railway talent management project has been planned since last year, and in the first phase, 3,775 railway experts and managers will be evaluated.

He noted that the database evaluates the talent of individuals to select key managers and jobs in the railways of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The ceremony of the sixth and seventh stages of operation of the new railway fleet held in the presence of the minister of roads and urban development and the managing-director of railways in Tehran on Tuesday.

This (Iranian) year is the year of 'Surge in Production' and in a total of seven stages, 451 rail fleets worth 933 billion Tomans have been put into operation, which shows a 16% increase compared to the same period last year.
