Vaezi: New White House leaders should follow new international system

Tehran (IP) - Referring to the results of the US presidential election, the Chief of Staff of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran stressed the need for the new White House leaders to go hand in hand with the new conditions of the international system.

Iran PressIran News: Mahmoud Vaezi, the Chief of Staff of the President, writing on his Twitter account on Sunday, stressed the need for the new White House leaders to go hand in hand with the new conditions of the international system.

Mahmoud Vaezi, wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday:

"Donald Trump's failure welcomed by the American people and most of the world which means that the era of unilateralism, extremism, tension, breach of commitment and violation of the rights of nations is over."

"Four years of the Trump administration's harmful foreign policy could serve as a lesson for new White House leaders to take the opportunity to change course and correct US misguided policies, and to adapt to the new conditions of the international system," Vaezi added.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th President of the United States, with 290 electoral votes against only 214 votes for Donald Trump, according to the results announced by the American media, and Kamala Harris was elected as vice president.
