Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of the President of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi said US maximum pressures may cause inconvenience to people, goods and hick the prices, but it can increase government, industry, defense, and economic resilience.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mahmoud Vaezi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on US maximum pressure and sanctions against Iran said: " There is no doubt that sanctions have made Iran more self-sufficient, but this does not mean that sanctions are welcomed."

Over the past three years, the US has put pressures against the country in varied fields, but Iran has made good progress in defense and missiles, Chief of Staff of the President of Iran Mahmoud Vaezi stated.

Speaking to IP, he stressed that today, Iran's defense industry is not comparable to the past, it has grown and developed and has achieved advanced equipment.

Stating that the maximum US sanctions and pressure had the opposite effect, Vaezi noted that the United States has sought to demise the Islamic Republic within three months, or the people to rise against the government, or the economy to collapse completely, but did not achieve any of its goals.
