Iran, Chile confer on cementing mutual ties

The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Chile discussed and exchanged views on important issues of mutual interest.

Iran PressAmerica: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is in La Paz to attend the inauguration of the new Bolivian president, met with his Chilean counterpart Andrés Allamand Zavala, on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony on Sunday, according to Iran’s Foreign Ministry.

The Iranian and Chilean foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

Arriving in La Paz on Saturday night, Zarif met with Bolivian President-elect Luis Arce and his Vice President David Choquehuanca.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran traveled to Cuba and Venezuela before visiting Bolivia.
