Tehran (IP) - Saeed Namaki, Iran's Health Minister, stated that with a new movement, COVID-19 patients would be diagnosed and treated early.

Iran Press/Iran news: Saeed Namaki, Iran Health Minister said that this family-based movement would be kicked off from 10th November 2020.

Namaki said from the early onset of the coronavirus outbreak Iran in less than 60 days could cut down the number of deaths and hospitalization rates.

"With the people's cooperation and related organizations, though under economic pressure and financial challenges, Iran successfully provided needed masks, disinfectants, and other anti-coronavirus materials," the minister highlighted.

The 5th Iran's medical universities and faculties president's virtual meeting with Saeed Namaki Iran's Health Minister attendance was held at the Health Ministry on 7th November to discuss the latest on COVID-19.

The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, announced on Saturday that 673,250 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 515,153 of the total infected people have recovered.
