The civilian death toll has risen to 91 in the Republic of Azerbaijan since the escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the country’s Prosecutor General’s Office said on Saturday.

Iran PressAsia: "Since September 27 and up to now, 91 civilians have been killed and 404 more wounded in the shelling by the Armenian Armed Forces against inhabited localities in the Republic of Azerbaijan," the press release says.

The Prosecutor General’s Office pointed out that 97 apartment buildings, 2,465 private houses, and 455 other civil facilities were damaged.

The new round of the conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh began on September 27. There have been three ceasefires so far, but the two sides have repeatedly accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
